OUR STORY
Unwind Apparel is so much more than just a premium apparel brand. It's a way of life.
After the sudden and unexpected loss of our young dog Brooklyn on Christmas day in 2021, we found ourselves dreading the brutally long, cold, dark and depressing New York winter ahead. The depression, 3-hour daily commutes, and the never-ending "NY rush" every minute of every day, no longer suited the life we needed and wanted for ourselves.

We hopped in the car, and drove down to Charleston, SC. After a 48-hour visit, we made the decision to uproot 33 years our lives on Long Island. We signed a contract to build a home, went back to NY, sold our house, said goodbye to everyone and everything we've ever known, and made the permanent move to the Holy City. ​

Making the move gave us a new lease on life and inspired us to build a brand around finding ways to take a step back, breathe, and actively find ways to unwind, each and every day.
